PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Ottawa Convention Centre (OCC) is a large scale project currently under construction in the heart of downtown Ottawa. Once open, the building will serve as a world class Tier 2 convention facility with amenities for conferences, tradeshows and various other events.
The redevelopment is expected to open in April 2011.

Key features of the facility include an extensive glass facade, overlooking the Rideau Canal. The new facility will be interconnected with The Westin Hotel to the north and The Rideau Centre shopping mall to the east. GmE successfully completed a wide variety of services for the project using both theoretical and physical modelling.
